Economy of thought

Sometimes there’s nothing I need more than to spend time reflecting, contemplating, and thinking about everything that’s happening in my life – everything I have to be grateful for.  Giving time to let insight and understanding arise from seemingly nowhere – revelations included – that’s the best kind of divine illumination I feel.

A retreat of sorts, while not neglecting responsibilities, and not being all monastic about it.  A retreat while still having the television to watch, keeping in touch with the world, with no need to travel or pay for any pre-planned gathering or event to acheive the same result. Most importantly, not feeling guilty when hunting through the cupboard or fridge for tasty snacks! 😊

Finding the “template” of what works, discovering and understanding what economy of thought is, it’s there in case it’s ever needed again, which will be when divine inspiration dictates, rather than when I think it’s a good time to start.

Have a lovely day!
